“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
For several months, our church leaders have been praying, preparing and planning and it is time to step out in faith and watch God lead us to IMAGINE More. Looking at all that God has done and is doing at CenterPointe Christian Church, can you imagine even more? I believe, wholeheartedly, that we haven’t even seen a portion of what God has planned for us! His word says, “immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine.”
The IMAGINE MORE initiative is a recognition that our church family is growing and we are so excited. One sign of a healthy church is the continual increase of people touched by its mission. CenterPointe has tripled attendance on Sunday mornings in just three years. Throughout the week, our meeting rooms are full every day and every evening with people just like you, seeking to grow and know God in a personal way.
The IMAGINE MORE initiative has developed as we’ve grown and will now fund a new worship space that holds 800 people in every service as well as a covered outdoor lobby connecting the new building to our existing building that will allow us to expand and upgrade our space & programs for children and youth so that young families have a place to grow at every age. IMAGINE MORE will create flexible meeting spaces and community gathering areas, both inside and outside of our church.

We are following God’s lead and we ask you to join us every step of this journey according to Ephesians 3: 20-21.

Heavenly Father, Holy God,
You commanded your people through the ages to be a light to the nations, to love you with our whole being, to love our neighbors as Christ loved us, to make disciples, to teach, and to baptize. God, you have given your Spirit to the church to animate us in that calling. We are in awe of what you have done here in so short a time. Lives changed by the gospel of your grace, young people coming alive to their faith, older people rediscovering their purpose in the advancement of your Kingdom, those far from you being brought near, baptism after baptism, missionaries going out near and far from this body, the Word being taught, the community being served in the name of Jesus.
God, you have done so much. We thank you and we come before you to ask for your favor as we imagine more of all this goodness. We want to reach more people, shine more light, glorify more and more, lift up the name of Jesus more. We want more of You. A building is just a tool, but in your hands it is sanctified and becomes a holy platform for gospel light to shine.
Help us shine for you, Father. Help us be a lighthouse for the lost of Venice and a training ground for an army of ambassadors for Jesus in this world. You are able to immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine and we believe that you will do even greater things among us as we trust in You.
In the glorious, beautiful, powerful name of your Son and our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
