Every major season of spiritual awakening in Christianity—whether that’s in a church, on a college campus, or in a workplace, even an entire NATION... every single one has been preceded by intense, persistent corporate prayer. Every single one. I don’t know of a single exception.

Discussion Questions for Growth Groups

Read through Acts 12. What were your “take aways” from this passage and this weeks message?
Tell about a time that God has answered your prayer?
Talk about a time that God has yet to answer a prayer or his answer was not what you had hoped for? Did that shake your faith?
Do you pray more for God to align Himself with your will or do you pray for your will to align more with God?
How can you pray more for God’s Will rather than your own?
Talk about prioritizing praying for the mission of the church? What might that look like? Do you lean more on doing things in your own strength and not relying on God through prayer?
Take some time to pray for the mission of our church to be able to reach more people who are lost without Jesus.
