GPS Rerouting: Love People (Part 2)

Part 2 of our GPS Rerouting series challenges us to overcome modern barriers, like isolation and distrust, by intentionally building connections with our neighbors and loving them as God loves us.
Discussion Questions for Growth Groups

Here are five discussion questions based on Pastor Mitch Todd's message about loving your neighbor (part 2) using Matthew 22:37-40:

1. **Reflect on the Equality of Love:** Jesus equates loving your neighbor with loving God. How does this perspective challenge your current approach to relationships with others, especially those you find difficult to love?

2. **Barriers to Connection:** What are some modern-day barriers that prevent us from knowing and trusting our neighbors? How can we overcome these obstacles to build stronger, more trusting relationships?

3. **Trust and Isolation:** Pastor Mitch mentions that the lack of trust leads to isolation and disconnection. In what ways can deepening our relationship with God help us build trust with those around us?

4. **Practical Steps to Neighborly Love:**  Various practical ways to connect with neighbors was shared, from hosting gatherings to simply walking a dog. What are some specific actions you can take this week to get to know and show love to your neighbors?

5. **Sharing Your Story:** Pastor Mitch emphasizes the importance of sharing your personal story of faith. How can sharing your journey with Jesus be an act of love towards your neighbors, and how might it open doors for deeper relationships and spiritual conversations?
