The Power To Change: Holy Habits

Desire to change won't make it so. Wishing for change won't make it so. Partnering with God in the development of "holy habits" is the mechanism for lasting change and growth in Christlikeness. This weekend, we’re learning how small habits can have a big impact on our lives.
Discussion Questions for Growth Groups
  • What stood out to you in this week’s message?
  • On a scale of 1-10, how difficult is it for you to start new habits?
  • Read 1 Timothy 4:8. How do you feel about Paul's statement here?
  • Read Hebrews 12:11. In what ways have you experienced this in your life?
  • Who do you want to become? What habit do you need to start to get there?
  • Talk about some of your current habits. In what ways are they honoring God?
  • How are you, or could you, partner with God in the work HE is doing to conform you to the image of Jesus?
  • Share about a time when you experienced change through spiritual transformation. How was that different than times you’ve tried to change through behavior modification
  • Consider the habit you want to start. Find one way to make it easy and obvious this week.
